What is it about?
  • How does Nomadesk protect my files?
    There is obviously state of the art security in our technology stack and processes, being constantly monitored and externally tested. Here are a few key differentiators too: Device Tracking: you may track any device that has Nomadesk installed Theftguard: device stolen or lost? Remotely destroy the Nomadesk data on your device, not in the Cloud of course Local Encryption: your locally cached data is military grade encrypted Data Governance: you may want to use file sharing and storage in your organisation with full control over the Nomadesk backend: choose Nomadesk Private Cloud. You get all the features of Nomadesk Public Cloud, with 100% Control.
  • Where is my data actually stored?
    If you are on our Public Cloud - we take care of the hosting - your data is stored in our European Datacenters, more specifically : Germany If you have deployed our Private Cloud - you take care of the hosting - then you know where your data is stored :-)
  • Can I switch between Nomadesk Public and Nomadesk Private?
    Yes. Our “follow-me data” guarantee allows for transfer of your Nomadesk Vaults on our Public Cloud to your own Private Cloud deployment and vice versa. Simply contact support@nomadesk.com, our Professional Services team will set up a meeting to facilitae this process. E.g. you may first try Nomadesk on Public and later on - depending on changing company policies or regulatory compliances - move to your own Nomadesk Private Cloud.
  • How can I get started?
    Go to www.nomadesk.com and select the Start your free trial button for the Nomadesk product option of your choice. If things are not clear: at Nomadesk there are real people to help you, get in touch with us and will guide you to the right option for you.
  • Do you have an API?
    Yes we do. Very well documented and with optional professional services to assist you for any integration you may want to do. Nomadesk is ideal for every product & platform that requires file storage & management, workflow and backup. The API is available for partners and both in Nomadesk Public and Private
  • Can I use Nomadesk for archiving of large storage amounts
    Yes you can. You will need a Basic Nomadesk license with 1 TB included and simply add storage blocks to that. Our storage has a very competitive pricing. See Pricing.
  • Can I access your storage directly without Nomadesk in front?
    Yes, that is possible. You can connect directly to our Hot S3 Object Storage facilities in Europe. Contact our sales departement to learn more about this.
