Nomadesk creates a secure area on your local hard drive called a Fileserver. All folders and files stored on a Fileserver are protected by 256-bit encryption. When the Nomadesk application is closed, your Fileservers are invisible making it impossible for unauthorized individuals to access your private data. Starting the Nomadesk application and entering your personal password (only known by you) unhides the Fileservers and makes them readily available within your standard file management applications (i.e., Windows Explorer, Mac Finder). Our system allows users to invite as few or as many members to team fileservers as needed.
With Nomadesk, files are always up-to-date and available to team members whether they are online or offline. Nomadesk automatically synchronizes and updates the files on the cloud server and across the computers of the team members.
In addition, Nomadesk mobile apps allow their traveling employees to send FileLinks, FolderLinks and access important files on the go.
