Yves Michali - Chairman

Yves Michali brings considerable experience of the software industry. After serving as General Manager of Novell France he spent ten years at Microsoft, six of which were based in Seattle. Returning to France, he oversaw iMediation's product strategy and co-founded Mobiclick. He was subsequently head of EMEA operations for Groove Networks, where he worked until the company was sold to Microsoft by founder Ray Ozzie, the creator of Lotus Notes.

Bruno Segers - Independent Director

Bruno Segers is CEO at RealDolmen.

Until September 2006, Segers managed the Belgian division of the software concern Microsoft. He then worked as an independent entrepreneur. Earlier in his career, he also worked for Oracle, Lotus and IBM.

Filip Tack - Founder and CEO

Filip has a BS and MS in Bioscience Engineering from Ghent University and an MBA degree from Vlerick Leuven Ghent Management School.  His professional background includes sales, marketing and software engineering.

Before founding Nomadesk in 2004, Filip held positions at a leading telecom equipment manufacturer and an IT start-up company. His responsibilities ranged from engineering functionality on telephone exchanges, to sales and marketing of telecom equipment and ‘vanguard’ IT services, to corporate communication.

Alex Brabers - Director

Alex Brabers joined Gimv in 1990. As Executive Vice President he is responsible for the ICT business unit. He joined the Executive Committee in 2001.
He is a board member of various listed and non-listed companies, including Telenet, Inside Contactless, VirtenSys and NomaDesk.

Alex holds a master's degree in Economics from the University of Louvain.

Steven Coppens - Director

Steven Coppens joined Gimv in 2000. As a Executive Investment Manager he is actively involved in early and later stage technology investments in Europe and US.
Before joining GIMV, he was Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Brussels. During this period he mainly worked on international SAP implementations. Prior to that, he was Business Analyst for United Technologies Corporation in Paris.

Steven Coppens holds seats at the boards of L&C, TinubuSquare, Gemidis, Ecophos, NomaDesk and Human Inference.

Steven holds a master's degree in Applied Economics from the University of Leuven and a master's degree from ESC Montpellier (France).
